هذا الفيلم يعرض في جزأينكيف عاش إنسان نياندرثال في أوروبا قبل ظهور الإنسان
الحالي وكيف واجه تحديات البرودة الشديد في أوروبا وقتها وكيف أن لم يستطع
المقاومة حتى انقرض بالنهاية ليحل محله الإنسان الحالي والذي آتى إلى أوروبا قادما
من أفريقيا لتبدأ رحلة جديدة من صراع الإنسان للبقاء التكاثر حتى وصل إلى أن يكون
اكبر و اذكي مخلوق على وجه هذا الكوكب ( عدد سكان العالم يصل إلى 7 مليار
نسمة مع حلول عام 2010 )ويحتل كل ركن فيه مزاحما باقي المخلوقات التي لم يعد
لها مكان سوى في حدائق الحيوان .
